The release of your book
has come at the perfect time for me. God has been working in my life powerfully;
both The Prayer of Jabez, and Secrets of the Vine have been used of God to
mold and instruct me. Thank you for your faithfulness and example.
Our church was planning to gather to pray for the members leaving on a missions
trip, and the Pastor called to ask if I would be willing to lead the congregation
in prayer for a certain portion of this trip. When I mentioned I had just
finished the Prayer of Jabez book and how awesome and life changing it was,
he changed his mind and asked me to pray the prayer of Jabez over the entire
missions trip. I eagerly accepted, because I immediately felt led that I should.
After hanging up I went into the other room thinking about preparing something
for that following night. The Lord however had other plans and immediately
convicted me not to prepare, but instead brought to mind this portion of scripture:
You will be brought before kings and counsels because of me, and when you
are there do not think of what you shall say...in that very hour the Spirit
will give you what you are to say. (My paraphase)
I was nervous but faithful and obedient. God is so faithful, literally within
that hour my mind began to peace together what I was to say. Never before
have I had people (a lot of people) seek me out after a service to tell me
how blessed they were by a prayer. Have no doubt that I gave the Lord all
the credit, because it was nothing of me. What an awesome God we serve! In
the following months this change of perspective your book gives would lead
me to witnessing to Mormons who were trying to witness to me. (The discernment
of the Spirit allowed me to Scripturally show them they were presenting a
lie, and that it is not and could not be a Christian religion.) To share Jesus
more times than I can count or remember. Not one person where I work (US Army)
has any doubt as to my beliefs. The Lord led me to start a ministry that not
only helps single mothers and widows, but also provides families with a ministy
opportunity. I have started teaching Sunday School, and have been asked by
the pastor to teach The Prayer of Jabez to the church starting in January,
and soon I will be leaving the military answering Jesus' call into the ministry.

I have read the book
The prayer of Jabez prayer three times.Being a
pastor I have preached it in my Church, The Church of Pakistan Saint
Mary Magdelene Church,to a congregation of 500 who shared their
testimonies with me. And how Lord has blessed them through this prayer.
It has revolutionised the prayer life of the people.
I can say about my own family we pray this prayer and Lord has blessed
us abundantly.
It will be shared with believers and non believers.
God has blessed our faith,
spiritual life and made us happy and bold to
wittness.

Dear Dr. Bruce,
After reading your book on The Prayer of Jabez, I begin to ask God to bring
someone to my path that I may be a blessing to others. Just last week I'd
an unusual encounter. I was doing my round of delivery with my working colleague
to a church when a stranger approached us. He told us he wanted to go to the
sanctuary to see the cross for prayer. It's was a normal working day and stranger
is not allow to roam a church just like that. My first impression was that
he looked suspicious. But somehow I told him that I'm not too sure where the
cross is. I proceeded to asked him whether I can be of any help to him. Same
words of Dr.Bruce. He began by telling us that He felt lead to come to this
church very strongly somehow. He's not a believer of Jesus Christ. He continues
with a series of family problems that needed God's intervention. There and
then I realise that I should refer him to the church pastor for prayer.
As we came out of the church, I recalled my Jabez's prayer. God did came with
the answer. This encounter taught me that God is willing to answer the Jabez's
prayer.

Thank you so much for being obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit when
you were inspired to write "The Prayer Of Jabez".
We were home from tour and a friend of mine called and ask for help on the
road with their ministry. I was glad to go help, but never realized where
it would bring me in my walk with God. One day while we were setting up at
a church in Georgia, I found your book in their bookstore. My friend said
"that is an awesome book, everyone we've sold it to, that has corresponded
with us has said how it changed their life, I'll give you a copy".
Needless to say I was interested after such a comment. They gave me the book,
I put it in my suitcase and brought it home. In the mean time, I had called
my wife and told her about the book. When I returned home, she immediately
started reading it, telling me it was really good and that I should read it
soon. I began to read it and decided that I really needed to share it with
the guys in our band. We meet every day at noon for an hour of prayer. I begin
to share it with them each day and after the first week we were finished with
it. We begin to pray the Jabez prayer over ourselves, our families and our
ministry. If I had the time, I could tell you about miracle after miricle
that has taken place every day since we begin to pray the prayer. I am in
awe at what God has done in our lives as we begin to ask him to bless us.
We tell everyone we meet about the prayer and the book. Many know and many
do not. We have even used it from stage many times in the ministry time of
our concerts. WOW!!!! God surely is faithful!! I am one who would immediately
pray for you if I found out you had a need, but would go for days with a headache
or something like that before I would think to pray for myself. Yes, I believe
God wants us to be concerned about our own well being so that we may be able
to help others. Your book has brought this to the forefront in my life.
We have just purchased your book, "Secrets Of The Vine". I haven't
started it yet because my son decided "HE" needed to read it first......
I started to use my "dad authority" so that I could read it first
but...... my day will come. grin, smile
Thank you for touching my families life and our ministry also. I give God
the glory as I'm sure you do, but I also believe in giving flowers while you
can still smell them!
